Classes/Fees

Yoga class descriptions

All classes are ongoing; you can start anytime.

Classes can be attended either at our studio or online (except Thursday morning classes are for studio only). To attend classes in the studio, masks are not required unless you are not vaccinated. Class sizes are limited to ensure social distancing. For more information about the online classes, see Online Yoga Classes.

All Levels — A standard Svaroopa® class with a full spectrum of asanas (yoga postures). For all levels of ability; beginners welcome.

Experienced — Only for students who know Svaroopa® yoga (not for beginners).

Yoga+Meditation Series — A class serving those who want more of the mystical element of yoga. Each class begins with yoga to prepare your body and mind for the meditation that follows. For those who have not meditated before in our style, we teach you how. Doing yoga poses before meditation has been part of the authentic yoga tradition for millennia. You get all the healing and care your body needs, along with the transformation for your mind and heart — all the benefits for which Svaroopa® yoga is well known.  The curriculum moves you from beginning to more advanced levels of yoga quickly.

Special class fees apply. For beginners and experienced.

Bliss — This class is open to all who are experienced with Svaroopa® yoga classes. (Class fees differ from those of All levels and Deeper classes.) Bliss classes are currently unavailable.

  • Mail or bring a check to:

  • Pay via eCheck (electronic check from your card or checking account)
  • Pay through Venmo (@PhilMilgrom-TCP). If you send money from your balance/debit card/bank, Venmo does not impose an extra processing fee. However, if you send money from your credit card, Venmo imposes a 3% processing fee.
  • Pay through PayPal  (paypal.me/TheCenteredPlace). PayPal imposes a 2.89% processing fee for each transaction.

Prospective students: Before coming to your first class, contact us to register. Let us know which class you want to attend first. You are free to attend any other All levels classes after that; you need not attend the same class each week.

Parking: Please be mindful of the space your car is taking. Pull as far forward as possible. Remember that you can park in the long driveway adjacent to the studio. If you park out front along Bridge Street, park off the street on our gravel driveway. For details, see our parking map on the Contact Us page. Thank you!
